Sally Hansen® Miracle Gel™

I nearly squealed with delight when I opened my mail box to find that Influenster had sent me the most fabulous Vox Box ever, the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel nail polish.  I have never, ever had a gel manicur (probs due to the fact that I am the cheapest person alive), so I was super eager to give this at-home version a go.

Most at-home gel nail polish kits require a crazy light contraption that this simple girl just wouldn't be interested in. The Sally Hansen Miracle Gel uses natural light, making the process so stinking easy.

First, I applied two coats of the nail color, which was a bright red named "Redgy" (LOVE). Then, I applied the top coat and let them dry normally. The result? A really, really nice, shiny pedicure. My husband asked if I had them professionally done because they had that really neat, glossy look that you usually only get in a nail salon. The polish started to chip on day 12, which is a record for me (I am in running shoes every day). I would absolutely recommend this to a friend, especially if she is a simple, thrifty gal like myself.

The only thing I would change about the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel nail polish is the directions (or lack thereof). Do I let the first coat dry before applying the second one? Do I let the color dry before applying the top coat? Instructions would have been awesome.

Other than that, go buy it. Seriously!

xx KC
