Final Destination: Middle Part

This is the last post in the series about Kayleigh and Stuart's surprise trip. It took three whole posts to write about that one trip...just shows how awesome it really was! Ian and I are very lucky to have these memories; I'm so thankful K&S gave us the opportunity to make them.

On the Monday night before I left Glasgow, we stayed in a super cool hotel in the city center. According to the website, Citizen M is a "hotel driven by one desire: to create affordable luxury for the people." And boy was it luxurious!!

The colors in the lobby were so swanky! I Definitely felt like I was in a James Bond movie!
The rooms were really small, sort of like cabins on a cruise ship. However, the layout of them and the cool technology in them--AMAZING! There was a remote control that controlled the whole room: color of shower (ambience, ha), lights, music, tv, shades on the windows...I may or may not have sat there playing with the lights for 20 minutes...I had the shower lights flashing like we were in a club!

Loved the big window beside the bed. The next morning I got to sit by it and watch people walk to work.

Staying in the city center allowed us to eat dinner then go out for drinks without having to get a taxi home.

Ian's casino offered him a free birthday dinner, so (of course) we used that! We had steak and soup and haggis bon bons and salad and potato wedges...delish! We then proceeded to watch Spain play, drinking complementary drinks.

I bet you are wondering why this post is called "Middle Part..."

After a few drinks, we were sitting in a bar and somehow Ian convinced me to rock a middle part for the rest of the evening. The middle part (as horrible as it was) brought out my inner-Kim-Kardashian-diva! One of my (hilarious) sorority sisters calls this particular hairstyle the butt crack part. The pictures that I woke up to the next morning confirmed that I should never, ever listen to my boyfriend's hair suggestions.

Kim K kissy face, anyone?
DIVAAA

NEVER AGAIN
